Welcome to Center for the Deaf

Center for the Deaf (Center for Døve) provides services for the deaf, deafblind and the hearing impaired in Denmark

The Center is divided into regions administering sign language interpreters and consulting services for the deaf, the deafblind and the hearing impaired.

In addition, some regions provide residential services, occupational therapy and other activities for the disabled deaf and deafblind.

All activities are founded on a basis of respect and understanding of the language and culture of deaf and deafblind people. This is also why our highest priority is being sign language orientated.
